Company Description

£12.00 an hour - Working hours between 7am to 4.30pm. Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (8am to 2pm).

Holroyd Howe is one of the UKs leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. At New Hall school we have a small and warm cafe for pupils and teachers to relax and grab a refreshing drink or snack. If you feel that you are ready to provide great customer experiences and serve great coffee this will just the job for you.

Each day you will be responsible for opening and closing the cafe, completing all company due diligence and food safety and health and safety standards. You will cook fresh foods daily and provide a hot and freshly prepared coffee to your customers. You will also be responsible for ordering and stock management. you will report to a manager daily and be looking at a seasonal changes where required.



Job Description

Our location is contentiously striving for excellence . The site caters for day pupils as well as boarders and staff and includes not only a breakfast, lunch and supper service but also an extensive hospitality service. This operates year round.

As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm



Qualifications

  • Ideally have experience using a barista coffee machine
  • Experience in cooking
  • Experience in food handle and preparations
  • Experience in stock management and ordering
  • Experience in handling company due diligence
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Have a progressive career to date
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
  • Fun and enthusiastic
  • Have excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail
