Position: Road Freight BDM/Sales Manager

Location: Fully remote

Salary: 60,000 + package/car/allowance/bonuses/commission

Hours: 37.5 per week - mon to fri

We are seeking a professional and experienced EU Road Freight Business Development Manager to join our leading multi-modal freight group. As a multi-site company with our head office in Essex and 6 strategically based UK branches, we are looking for a self-starter with a strong network and portfolio/track record to drive the sales of our European road freight services and complete range of freight services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to sell European road freight services and the complete range of freight services, including air and ocean.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Achieve monthly revenue targets of 25,000 - 35,000 GP
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
  • Prospecting and generating leads for new potential clients
  • Attending industry events and networking to build relationships
  • Creating and delivering sales presentations
  • Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development within the EU road freight industry
  • Strong network and portfolio of clients in the freight industry
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of EU road freight regulations and market trends
