Project Manager - Earthworks & Highways
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Earthworks to join a well-established contractor delivering major infrastructure schemes in Essex. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, career progression, and the chance to work on high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
路Oversee and manage earthworks projects, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
路Implement and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to maintain quality control and compliance.
路Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
路Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
路Manage project documentation, reporting, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
路Problem-solving and decision-making to mitigate project risks.
Requirements:
路Proven experience in Earthworks within a contractor environment.
路Strong understanding of ITPs and quality assurance processes.
路Experience in delivering works for a contractor on major infrastructure projects.
路Background in highways or road construction schemes.
路Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
路Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
