Reed is currently working a fantastic business based in Chelmsford who are hiring for a Communications Project lead on a 6-month Fixed Term Contact. You will lead the development and delivery of communication resources and internal communications. This role is crucial in enhancing the understanding and awareness of their services. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and deliver a suite of communication resources, including leaflets, online information, and multimedia content
  • Collaborate with the Head of Communications and Supporter Engagement to strengthen internal communications, including the production of staff resources and an internal magazine.
  • Support the refresh of content on the website and assist in the planning and development of a project plan for a revised or new website.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the content accurately reflects our services and approach to care.
  • Ensure all communication materials adhere to consistent branding, messaging, tone, and language.
  • Lead the development of an internal storytelling framework, a language toolkit, and an internal communications toolkit to ensure accuracy and consistency across all organisational communications.
  • Conduct research and competitor analysis to identify gaps in patient resources and website functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Marketing Certificate/Diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Postgraduate or further professional qualification such as CIM, CIPR preferred.
  • Significant experience in communications
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in coordinating and working as part of a team.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively and meet deadlines.
  • High level of creativity and innovation in producing communication materials.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages and familiarity with e-marketing.
