Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant

Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Are you immediately available and looking for a temporary assignment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our client's team in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a 12-week assignment, to be considered for the role, you must be available immediately and for the duration of the assignment.

Duties:

  • Log invoices on the system and ensure they are sent to the relevant department for coding.
  • Review and process invoices once they have been correctly coded, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Receive and manage staff expense claims, conducting necessary checks and arranging timely payments.

About you:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger is essential, as you will be handling a variety of financial transactions.
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must, as you will be responsible for accurately logging and processing invoices.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
