I am partnered with an expanding Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy who specialise in the construction industry, specifically excelling in the education & residential arenas.
Due to a recent influx in work, they are looking to bring a self-sufficient Quantity Surveyor into the team to assist and grow with the business. A candidate I worked with at the start of my career joined this consultant as a junior in 2018, and they are still with the company and now at Associate Director level!
Along with this progression, they offer a real flexible and hybrid working model and will happily help you through further education like RICS or MSc.
We on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor who is able to manage their own project and is self-sufficient. This doesnt have to be high value and can be using the NEC or JCT contracts.
The experience I am looking for includes:
Experience managing own construction project/s using either NEC or JCT contracts
Construction experience is preferred especially if includes education experience
Client-side experience is preferred but we will look at contractor background
Experienced within the pre-contract phase (preparing budgets, procurement)
Client facing experience is preferred
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project level QS to join a friendly and dynamic team working on major projects with good flexibility and autonomy.
My client are based in Essex and sites are in and around the South East of England.
The role will be on a hybrid model between site, office and home with at least 1-2 days a week from home.
