About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative and engaging geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Inspire students through interactive learning experiences that encourage curiosity and exploration of the world.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level exams, providing tailored support and resources to maximize their success.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to guide their development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our geography curriculum, ensuring it reflects current global issues and advancements in the field.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters collaboration and independent thinking.
  • Lead and participate in extracurricular activities, such as geography clubs, field trips, and school projects, to enhance student engagement.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Geography or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in geography education.
  • Experience teaching geography at GCSE and A-Level preferred.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
