Housing Options Officer
Location: Essex
Rate: Very competitive
Length: 12-months
My client in Essex is currently searching for a Housing Options Officer to join their team on a 12-month contract, to start immediately.
They are looking to interview ASAP!
Daily responsibilities:
- Deliver a customer orientated service to prevent homelessness.
- Assess the Council's duties to those who are at risk of homelessness and ensure that these are discharged.
- Liaise with families, private landlords, social care, letting agencies and mortgage lenders.
- Provide advice to those seeking accommodation on private sector housing options.
Essential Experience:
- History applying Section 21 and 184, as well as HRA 2017, to real cases.
- Experience working for local authorities/councils.
- Have worked with Personalised Housing Plans (PHP).
