Sonic Summary

The Local Authorities in Essex are seeking multiple Housing Options Officers to start immediately.
Candidates must have experience working in Housing Options and will be responsible for providing frontline services to customers regarding their housing needs.
The role includes undertaking formal investigations under the Housing Act 1996 and issuing Section 184 decisions within required timescales.
The position offers a salary range of £27 to £30 per hour, depending on knowledge, with a contract length of 3 to 6 months.
Office presence is required for 2 days a week.

I am looking for a number of Housing Options Officer to join two different Local Authorities within Essex to get started as soon as possible!

The role:

Provide a frontline service to customers, who are seeking advice/assistance with regards to their housing needs
To undertake formal investigations under Pt V11 Housing Act 1996 (as amended)
Issue Section 184 decisions within the required timescales
Produce Personal Housing Plans (PHP)

Office presence: 2 days in the office

Rate: 27/30 (dependant on knowledge)

Contract length: 3 months / 6 months

It is required that you have experience working in Housing Options!
