About Us:
Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive SEMH school. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, helping them thrive in a nurturing environment.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in the classroom to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in managing their emotions and building positive relationships.
- Work closely with the teaching team to implement tailored strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and empathetic approach to supporting children.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
