Microsoft Stack Developer, OpenXML, VSTO, .NET, C#, C++, Chelmsford, Essex, Remote

Microsoft Stack Developer required to work for a fast-growing Software Solutions business based in Chelmsford, Essex. However, this will be mainly remote and you will only be required to go into the office circa once a month for collaboration meetings.

We need you to come from a solid Microsoft Stack Development background and someone who wants to move on to bigger and better things career wise. You will have a good personality and will be able to deal with some client facing duties as and when required.

Microsoft Office Development (desktop and online apps) is at the heart of what they do. Therefore, experience within Microsoft Office VSTO / Visual Studio or OpenXML and object oriented developmentis actually essential.

Experience required:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5 years of proven experience in C# development.

Strong understanding of the .NET framework and object-oriented programming principles.

Proficient in WPF for creating compelling user interfaces.

Familiarity with software design patterns and dependency injection to create scalable, maintainable, and testable code.

Experience with Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) and OpenXml

Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or similar.

Experience with Agile development processes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
