Lead Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior JavaScript Developer to join our client's dynamic FinTech team. You will play a key role in evolving and scaling our client's platforms while contributing to exciting new greenfield projects. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for mentoring other developers and ensuring the success of front-end development. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the front-end stack and drive the creation of modern web and mobile applications.

Essential Skills:

- Solid knowledge of ES6 & JavaScript

- Expertise in Vue.js (ideally Vue3 for composition API)

- Proficiency in web markup including HTML & CSS

- Experience with asynchronous request handling (REST, GraphQL)

- Familiarity with front-end build tools (Vite, Webpack, CLIs)

- Proficient in Git and related platforms (GitHub, GitLab)

Desirable Skills:

- Typescript and Nuxt.js experience

- Knowledge of Node.js and Docker

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions

- Prototyping and storyboarding tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator)

- Experience in mobile and responsive design

- Testing tools such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress

Duties:

- Scale and enhance existing platforms through informed technical decisions.

- Develop stimulating new user-facing features and reusable libraries.

- Optimise applications for speed and scalability.

- Manage Pull Requests and ensure project deadlines are met.

- Refine internal processes to improve platform performance, reliability, and usability.

- Identify and address any performance issues in web and mobile applications.

- Maintain high-security standards, addressing vulnerabilities promptly.

- Stay updated with JavaScript innovations and apply them to keep applications competitive.

- Mentor team members and foster an innovative and collaborative team environment.
