Role Overview:

As an Outreach SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will be based with a child aged between 13 and 18, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs. Whether it's 1:1 or 2:1 support, your role will be pivotal in helping the child achieve their academic goals and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the tutor/mentor to support the delivery of lesson plans

  • Provide positive behaviour support and guidance

  • Utilise your experience with ADHD, ASC, Epilepsy, and Anxiety to create a supportive environment

  • Drive the child to various activities and appointments

  • Build rapport through engaging activities and outings funded by a petty cash fund

  • Encourage and motivate the child to reach their full potential academically and socially

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Driving licence
