About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to support students aged 16-20 at our Chelmsford campus. The role involves providing tailored assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them succeed in their studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students aged 16-20 with SEN
- Assist with learning activities and classroom tasks
- Help develop learning materials tailored to individual needs
- Support the teaching staff in monitoring and assessing student progress
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is essential
- Must have a valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students' growth
