We are urgently looking for a passionate SEN TA to join a leading complex needs school in Chelmsford, starting ASAP. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of students with special educational needs, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.About the Role: As an SEN TA, you will provide vital support to students with complex needs, including physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and autism. You will work closely with both teaching staff and other support staff to create a positive and enriching learning environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups, supporting students in their day-to-day learning and social activities.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in adapting materials to meet the unique needs of each pupil, ensuring maximum engagement.
  • As an SEN TA, you will play a key role in encouraging independence and helping students build confidence in their abilities.
  • Provide personal care support when needed, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to monitor progress and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as an SEN TA, particularly in a complex needs setting.
