A Distribution company in Roxwell, Chelmsford requires a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join their team ASAP!
Paying 13.50 - 14.85 per hour, working Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm (once fully trained this position will become hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 from home).
*You will need to be able to drive for the location of this position*
Key Purchasing Administration duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders and deliveries.
- Collaborate with finance and warehouse departments regarding any queries.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to purchasing activities.
- Support the Manager, Logistics & Warehouse in various administrative tasks as needed.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in purchasing administration or data entry.
- Familiarity with Sage and Navision would be a bonus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
