RF Verification & Test Engineer

Role Requirements: RF Verification & Test Engineer

  • Working on Microwave Power Module and TWT development programmes
  • Develop test methodology, understanding system requirements and functional characteristics
  • Work with test facilities equipment owners, both internal/external, assemble/develop test set-ups and plan testing
  • Execute test plans and write test reports to demonstrate compliance
  • Liaise with electronics and microwave tube engineers to diagnose and resolve system and component level performance issues

Essential Skills/experience: RF Verification & Test Engineer

  • Knowledge of microwave theory, equipment and test processes
  • Experience working microwave amplifier systems - mW to W
  • Test planning working from customer, internal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience working on defence electronics systems and projects
  • Degree level or equivalent industrial experience
