Automotive Technicians - Exceptional opportunities (at all levels of experience) working in this large structured and organised company repairing luxury / Prestige cars in these excellent new facilities. This large and successful company offers a structured grading system that gives you clear career progression. You will conduct mechanical assessments, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and internal guidelines.

Basic starting salaries range from 30k - 60k depending on experience and additional productivity bonuses are paid that can add significantly to this.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive mechanical assessments on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Detect and report visual defects and unusual driving behaviours.
  • Execute high-quality repairs to ensure vehicles are ready for retail.
  • Install accessories and components as directed by the sales team.
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed and parts used for warranty compliance.
  • Use diagnostic tools to accurately identify faults and recommend effective repair solutions.
  • Maintain workshop equipment by adhering to maintenance schedules and promptly reporting any issues.
  • Keep the workshop clean and organised to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Deliver all work to the highest standards to ensure customer satisfaction and minimise repeat repairs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic role.
  • Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in motor vehicle repair.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of how Manufacturer Standards related to vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
