We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our client, a Nationwide Public Transport Provider. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy vehicle maintenance, specifically with public service vehicles such as buses and coaches.



HGV Technician Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of PSV vehicles.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT tests.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.



HGV Technician Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bus Mechanic or in a similar role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of PSV systems and components.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving license; PSV license is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
