My clientis recruiting for a VehicleTechnician based within the NHS in Essexand the surrounding area.
Ideal candidates need:
- IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
- Knowledge of procedures for mechanical/electrical maintenance and repair to BTEC/HNC, or City and Guilds, plus relevant training or equivalent
- Driving Licence with C1/D1 categories, courses, significant experience of driving vehicles larger than a family saloon car
- Available to start ASAP
Main Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls, brake system repairs, and diagnostic troubleshooting, using specialised equipment
- Carry out MOT inspections/repairs as required
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts usage, labour hours, and vehicle histories
As the role is NHS based candidates will be asked to complete an onboarding & compliancechecks including DBS & Online training modulesprior to starting.
