Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a role in the Chelmsford area.

Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and labour hours.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service quality and efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems.
- A valid driving licence is essential.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanics
