Are you passionate about sports science and inspiring the next generation of fitness and sports professionals? A college in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking a dedicated Sports Science Lecturer to join their team on a full-time or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and assess Sports Science courses up to Level 3, including modules such as anatomy, physiology, fitness testing, and training principles.
- Deliver practical and theoretical lessons that engage and motivate learners.
- Inspire students to achieve their academic and career goals in the sports and fitness industry.
- Monitor and assess learner progress, providing tailored feedback and support.
- Contribute to curriculum development and ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching.
- A Level 3 qualification or higher in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching sports science or working in a sports-related role (teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential).
- A passion for sports and fitness, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Competitive daily rate £200 - £250 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience).
