As an Audit Semi Senior, you will be working closely with senior auditors and managers, gaining hands-on experience in the audit process. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
• Working with a variety of clients, including commercial businesses and not-for-profits
• Preparing audit working papers and financial statements
• Supporting the audit team in reviewing client records and financial data
• Liaising directly with clients to request necessary information and provide updates
• Ensuring compliance with audit regulations and accounting standards
• Developing your technical knowledge and working towards audit senior responsibilities

This growing Cheltenham-based accountancy practice is part of a larger network, offering a full range of audit, tax, and advisory services.

The local team consists of experienced professionals, and they are committed to mentoring and supporting junior team members to help them succeed.

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or working towards qualification)
• Demonstrable audit experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients
• Proficiency in accounting software such as CaseWare, CCH, Xero, or Sage (desirable)

• £28,000 to £38,000 per annum
