Job Purpose- Support the delivery of statutory audit assignments from planning to completion, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee specialist audits such as solicitor rules and charity audits
- Lead onsite audit teams to ensure quality audit fieldwork, undertaking testing and ensuring budgets and deadlines are met
- Draft corporation and income tax computations
- Preparation of non-audited accounts
- Report directly to the Audit Manager and Partners
- Liaise with HMRC on work assignments
- Supervise and coach junior staff both on site and in the office by reviewing work
- Ensure audit procedures are followed meticulously
- Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Manage own workload and regularly update managers with work progress
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
- Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
- Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

- ACCA or ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience also considered
- Proven track record of leading audit assignments within practice environment
- Good knowledge of CCG Audit Automation and CCH Accounts
- Working knowledge of relevant audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
- A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress in the firm
- Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
- Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work confidently with senior team members
