Practice Accountant

Due to continued growth, my client, a successful and ambitious Accountancy Practice, are looking to add an experienced Practice Accountant to their Client Management team. Â

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Practice Accountant:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients including individuals, partnerships and charities
- Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual accounts, dealing with personal and corporate tax.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
- Work closely with bookkeeping and payroll colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications of the Practice Accountant:
- ACCA/ACA qualified is highly desirable, however Part Qual or QBE considered
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years practice experience
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to translate technical matters in to simple English
- Proven ability to nurture strong client relationships
My client is offering an annual salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary bonuses.
