My client , a global manufacturing business , is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their talented head office team in Cheltenham. Working for a highly experienced Financial Controller , you will have all the support you need moving into a more commercial role .
The role of the Financial Accountant is to support the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements of four of the european businesses.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for US GAAP and European GAAP statutory accounts, including reconciliations and tax accounting.
- Support year-end audit and interim reviews.
- Provide accurate analytical and financial reporting which is insightful and identifies opportunities to the business and management.
- Support projects around continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
- Perform and support certain monthly closing activities.
- Support our internal customers with advice and a point of view.
- Provide support to other Financial Accountants if required.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and have good knowledge of statutory accounting. You will also be capable of working in a team , supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge. This role will also suit a Financial Accountant already in idustry.
