Job Purpose

  • Supporting a varied client portfolio, working closely with senior accountants to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Assisting with the preparation of accounts for Limited companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships.
  • Bookkeeping duties using Xero and Hubdoc.
  • Preparation of management accounts.
  • Assisting with the preparation of personal tax returns.
  • Liaising with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries.
  • Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Studying towards AAT Level 4 or equivalent.
  • A desire to complete ACCA or ACA study - study support available.
  • Qualified by impressive experience would also be considered.
  • At least 12 months’ experience within UK practice.
  • A team player who can also work autonomously.
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
