The Senior Corporation Tax Associate will oversee the provision of tax services to a portfolio of local, regional and international clients in a multi-disciplinary environment. This involves ensuring that tax compliance work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Description

As a Senior Associate in the Corporation Tax team, you will be responsible for overseeing a varied portfolio, managing compliance, and handling technical matters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance.
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations, including the relevant disclosures for financial statements.
  • Advise clients on tax planning strategies, providing clear and practical guidance on technical issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and specialists on complex tax matters.
  • Oversee the delivery of ad-hoc tax projects as needed.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor on all matters related to corporation tax.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members.

Profile

Skills & Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in corporation tax compliance and advisory.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and work independently.
  • Ability to review and manage tax computations and financial disclosures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience working within an accountancy practice is desirable.
