Job Purpose
  • Supporting a varied tax portfolio providing excellent taxation compliance, advisory and planning services
  • Providing expert advice on personal and corporate tax matters
  • Liaising with third parties to collate tax return information
  • Corresponding with HMRC to resolve tax-related issues on clients’ behalf
  • Contributing to tax planning initiatives to support Tax Manager and Directors
  • Reviewing complex personal, partnership, trust and corporation tax returns
  • Researching regularly to interpret changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Nurturing meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike
  • Assisting with other tax filings and ad-hoc projects where required
  • Mentoring and guide junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Championing your own professional development by undertaking progression opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
  • CTA / ATT / ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or with the desire to start studying
  • Demonstrable experience within UK practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, efficient and able to autonomously manage workload
  • Good at working under pressure
  • Self-motivated, professional and reliable
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc
