Sonic Summary

Techniche Global is seeking an Aircraft Wireman for an engineering defence contractor.
The role requires an unlicensed engineer with a strong maintenance-related technical knowledge of rotary aircraft Avionic systems and at least 2 years of experience.
The position involves completing maintenance activities as directed, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and performing aircraft ground handling as needed.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Candidates must have good communication skills and a basic academic qualification, preferably with an apprenticeship or armed forces training.

Techniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Aircraft WiremanThe unlicensed engineer is primarily responsible for the completion of maintenance as directed by the BMC, BMS or Licensed Engineers. Working at Base Maintenance facilities on an equal time on and off roster, there may on occasions be a requirement for the unlicensed engineer to support Line Maintenance activities. Key responsibilities:

Completion of all maintenance activities, as directed, in accordance with approved maintenance data and company policies and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Legislation including the wearing and maintaining of appropriate PPE.
Aircraft ground handling as required.
Additional Engineering Tasks as nominated by the Base Maintenance Supervisors, Base Maintenance Co-Ordinator or Avionics manager
Ensuring components fitted and removed are recorded, issued using the company computer system. Where necessary removed components are labeled correctly and stored, returned in the appropriate manner.
Ensuring the formal reporting of incidents and near misses in accordance with company procedures and the appropriate escalation of issues to Base Maintenance or Management outside of the scope of responsibility or influence.

Experience and Qualifications.

A strong maintenance related technical knowledge of rotary aircraft Avionic systems
Good verbal and written communication skill
A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & safety and human factors awareness.
Basic Academic Qualifications with apprenticeship or armed forces training
