Shift Pattern: 8 Hour Shifts, 08:30 - 17:00

Role Details

In this role you will ensure integrity of product and technical data is maintained and excellent service levels areconsistently achieved in the delivery of product data and technical assistance to internal departments,customers and suppliers. You will also manage barcode queries, updates and change to ensure legislative compliance and support technicalprojects and assist customers with product related requests as well as managing new supplier and product set ups from start to finish.

  • Demonstrate professionalism and deliver an awesome customer experience to both internal andexternal customers.

  • Accountability for the robustness and accuracy of product data held on internal databases, andresponsibility for the regular review of this data as set by the business.

  • Analyse product labels to ensure data provided by suppliers is accurate and compliant with relevantlegislation.

  • Liaise with suppliers on detailed product information such as allergens and ingredient information.

  • Support with product barcode queries and to escalation of issues with the relevant supplier.

  • Create and distribute reports internally on supplier product discrepancies and to charge according tothe Creed Foodservice Supplier Charter.

  • Maintain accuracy of product data during the life of the product on various internal and externalplatforms.

  • Ensure that customer product complaints are handled effectively, monitor trends, and ensure highlevel of customer service is maintained.

  • Responsible for the organisation of and reporting on new product listings and delists

  • Reporting on performance of Supplier Activations

  • Organisation and uploading of Supplier Promotions and new lines.

  • Load supplier and Country Range Group promotions onto our internal systems.

  • Collect new product Information.

  • Product pricing administration.

  • Reporting and administrative duties to support the Trading teams objectives.

  • Demonstrate commitment to and support our Environmental, Social and Governance goals in howdaily tasks and responsibilities are carried out.

  • Actively promote a food safety culture through sharing knowledge and expertise.

  • To disclose any evidence of product safety, legality, quality, or integrity issues.

  • To report all accidents and promote best practices in Health and Safety and contribute to ensuring asafe working environment for all employees, workers, and visitors on site.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Strong I.T and administration skills, numeracy, and a good level of English.
  • Customer service focus, excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
  • An action-oriented individual, who is solutions focused, can manage multiple priorities, and deliverresults on time.
  • A good team player, with attention to detail and good problem-solving skills that follows processes inplace and prioritises business improvement.
  • A methodical approach to work and excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to learn new systems quickly, and experience using both Microsoft Excel and Accord orsimilar ERP system within a previous role.
  • A self-starter, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated individual with a desire to learn and progress.
  • Experience working within a busy administrative role.
  • Confident in working in an office and warehouse environment.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Foodservice, FMCG or similar environment.
  • An interest in or knowledge of food product and labelling, or UK food legislation.
  • Experience or knowledge of quality management, Food Safety, HACCP, TACCP or VACCP systems.
  • Passionate about food and interested in nutrition, allergen information, and food safety
