They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Aerospace Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
- Utilise and calibrate various inspection and measuring equipment, such as verniers, micrometres, calipers, and CMM equipment, to ensure accurate measurements of parts and components.
- Communicate any defects found to production and engineering colleagues, both verbally and in writing, utilising reporting and record-keeping procedures.
- Share technical knowledge and understanding to assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Participate in audits performed by external parties and internal audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and documents to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Ensure conformance of components and parts by meticulously conducting inspections and completing accurate documentation.
- Compile First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Attention to detail and dexterity in handling precision equipment.
- Qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with AS9100 and first-off inspection procedures.
- Proficient in decision-making and problem-solving.
Technologies:
- Proficiency in using inspection and measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometres, calipers, and CMM equipment.
