Key Responsibilities:
*Perform classical static stress analysis on landing gear components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with design criteria and military safety standards.
*Conduct fatigue analysis to evaluate the durability and lifespan of landing gear systems under operational loads.
*Provide technical support to design and engineering teams, focusing on the structural validation of landing gear components.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and improve landing gear designs, ensuring structural integrity and performance.
*Prepare and review stress reports, technical documentation, and detailed calculations to support landing gear project objectives.
*Ensure all work adheres to military and regulatory standards for landing gear systems, promoting safety and reliability.

Key Requirements:
*Proven experience in classical stress calculations for both static and fatigue loading, specifically related to landing gear.
*Strong understanding of material properties, failure mechanisms, and structural behaviours for landing gear systems.
*Ability to work independently and within a team to address technical challenges without advanced FEA tools.
*Familiarity with military or aerospace industry standards related to landing gear is highly desirable.
*Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Prior experience working on landing gear in the military or defence sector.
*Experience with fatigue analysis methodologies and lifecycle assessments for landing gear systems.
*Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements for military-grade landing gear performance.

Additional Information:
