Position: Cleaner/Facilities Operative
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hourly Rate: 12.50 - 13.50
Location: Cheltenham
Your Role:
As the Cleaner/Facilities Operative, you will be responsible for keeping our site immaculate. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the site, focusing on toilets, communal areas, shopfloor and offices.
- Performing ad-hoc tasks, which may include painting, building maintenance, gardening, and cleaning machine upkeep.
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Managing stock control of consumables.
- Upholding the 5S programme to maintain organised and efficient work areas.
- Occasionally working outside normal hours as needed.
- Participating in fire alarm testing and keyholding responsibilities (post-probation).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with any other tasks that align with your skills and capabilities to support the business as required.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid UK full clean driving licence is essential.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
- Ability to obtain NSVS/BPSS UK Security clearance.
- Forklift truck experience is advantageous; willingness to undergo training is required.
Working Hours:
- 39 hours per week, with start and finish times to be agreed upon.
