As a General Manager, you’ll hold ultimate responsibility for the performance of your location, measured by the "balance score card" - a framework combining commercial success and compliance excellence. This role demands strong leadership, a focus on team empowerment, and a commitment to creating an exceptional workplace for colleagues and members alike.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance

  • Drive sales activities and achieve KPIs to meet commercial objectives.
  • Oversee member prospecting, networking, and local partnerships to generate leads.
  • Manage renewals, cost control, and revenue targets in line with P&L.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to implement location-specific campaigns.

Community & Engagement

  • Cultivate a vibrant community through member engagement and local events.
  • Build lasting relationships with brokers, agents, and local industries.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for members, addressing feedback and planning for growth opportunities.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and development to build a high-performing, cross-trained team.

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure health and safety standards, compliance protocols, and risk assessments are upheld.
  • Manage supplier relationships, focusing on service quality and positive impact goals.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and billing processes, supporting financial integrity.

About You

  • Proven Leadership Skills: Experience in leading teams, ideally within a role where you had to drive sales, be compliant and foster a culture. Candidates from a hospitality background could be a great fit.
  • Sales & Commercial Acumen: A track record of meeting sales goals and driving business performance, and networking success.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure compliance.
  • People-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for developing others and creating a positive, collaborative environment.
