- As a paraplanner, you will support the advisers in researching, analysing and preparing financial plans and reports for clients.
- You will also liaise with product providers, clients and other professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- You will work within a close-knit team of paraplanners and administrators who are encouraged to challenge themselves in their development and support one another at all times.
- You will work in accordance with the regulatory standards and best practices, and you will keep up to date with the latest changes and developments in the financial services industry.
- You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development.
- This is a permanent full-time job, office based in the centre of Cheltenham.
- You have at least a level 4 diploma in financial planning or equivalent, but preferably you are chartered or studying towards level 6 chartered status.
- You have at least two years of experience as a Paraplanner or a similar role in the financial services industry, including experience with but not limited to pension and investment advice, IHT planning and VCT/EIS products.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and you are able to work with complex and technical information.
- You have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and you can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
