We are seeking reliable and skilled HGV2 Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient curb side refuse collections as part a collection team. This role requires a strong commitment to team work, as well as the ability to manage time effectively while adhering to all road safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate a HGV2 recycling vehicle.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Assist the crew in the loading and unloading of refuse as well as safe driving of the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Current valid UK Cat C driver license
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and commercial driving standards.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently when loading or unloading goods.
Shifts/Hours
This is a Monday-Friday role, start times 0645 daily.
