The role:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Commis Chef to support our client’s kitchen team. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the kitchen.


Key Responsibilities:
• Punctuality & Presentation:
o Report for duty on time and in a presentable manner, reflecting the high standards of the company.


• Kitchen Support:
o Assist the Chef in the daily running of the kitchen.
o Liaise with the Chef to prepare the required food items for the day.
o Plan your day and manage your workload in line with the day’s business to be fully prepared for service.


• Quality & Efficiency:
o Keep wastage to a minimum, ensuring the kitchen maintains its targets.
o Check delivered goods and immediately inform the Chef of any discrepancies.
o Check stock items at the end of service and reorder as required.


• Health, Safety & Hygiene:
o Work in accordance with all health and safety policies.
o Keep your work area clean and tidy at all times, leaving the workplace in a clean state at the end of each service.


• Customer Service & Teamwork:
o Deliver exceptional customer service to delight our guests, attending promptly to any special requirements.
o Be courteous and polite when interacting with club members.
o Communicate effectively with team members, remain aware of your surroundings, and work collaboratively to achieve the best results.

Working Schedule:
• Work 5 days out of 7
• Minimum of 30 hours per week with the potential for extra hours, subject to business demands
