The successful candidate will be keen, eager and ambitious to join a progressive and developing company serving all fresh en-trend menus. You might be a CDP/Senior CDP looking to step up and be part of the senior kitchen management team.
It is a very busy operation so you will need high volume experience.
Role -Junior Sous Chef
As Junior Sous Chef you will:
- Prepare and cook seasonal fresh menus
- Be part of the senior kitchen team
- Motivate, train and develop the team
- Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
- Help to control labour and manage wastage, the GP, and all costs & budgets
- Order and control stock
- Maintain high standards of service & compliance with company systems & procedures
- Work closely with the front of house team
Attributes - Junior Sous Chef
We are looking for:
- Experience gained in high volume customer facing restaurants/hotels/catering operations
- Passion for cooking using fresh produce
- A positive, enthusiastic and outgoing personality and attitude
- Strong people management skills and the ability to train, motivate and develop your team
- An intrinsic understanding of legislation and compliance
