IT Service Manager required to join our client in the National Security & Defence sector based in Cheltenham. This role requires up to 10% travel. Please note, for this role sole UK citizenship is required and candidates must posses current eDV (UK*C) Clearance.

You'll join a busy, established and growing IT Service Management team within our clients Defence & Intelligence division. This role is vital to the support and delivery of existing and future critical services for their end customers. Key Duties:

  • You'll be responsible for the management of all incidents and requests
  • You will be responsible for maximising the number of successful IT changes by ensuring that risks have been properly assessed, authorising changes to proceed, and managing the change schedule.
  • You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable information about the configuration of services, and responsible for maintaining a single source of consistent information on all services.
  • You'll be accountable in the design of products and services helping to ensure that they are fit for purpose, and that they can be delivered
  • You'll identify and explore opportunities for continual service improvements.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A demonstrable track record of Incident, Change and Release management.
  • Experience across the service delivery life-cycle, including Service Transition.
  • ITIL v3 and v4 Qualifications.
  • Extensive experience of IT Service Management Tools.
  • Experience of supporting IT projects in complex and challenging environments.
