The Role and Responsibilities
As Site Engineer you will play a pivotal part in initial ECI works across the project including site set up, minor site clearance, ground investigation, ecological & archaeological surveys and working with traffic management teams. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, recording findings and reporting back to the commercial and HSE teams.
The Company
Our client, a large Tier 1 contractor, have secured work on a key project in the Cheltenham area. They will be responsible for delivering a junction rebuild and improvement project on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council on Junction 10 on the M5.
The Requirements
The ideal Site Engineer for this position will have experience working within the highways sector on large scale highways and roads projects. Involvement in ECI works and site surveys/investigations will be advantageous! It is essential you are delivery focused and able to be based on site 5 days a week.
We do require someone that has worked for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and you must have a valid CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
