Shirley Parsons has partnered with a leading specialist in property compliance to seek a dedicated Foundation Fire Risk Assessor to deliver expert fire risk assessments and advice across the UK. With a flexible working arrangement (three days on-site, two days from home) and opportunities to work with a variety of retail and commercial environments, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives on independence and growth.

The Foundation Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for:
- Conducting planned and reactive fire risk assessments in low-risk environments and identifying appropriate risk control measures.
- Preparing clear, legally compliant Fire Risk Assessment reports with actionable recommendations for clients.
- Providing technical fire safety advice grounded in UK Fire Safety Legislation and associated standards.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulators to implement fire safety plans and deliver bespoke support.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation, guidance, and standards while recording continuous professional development.

The Foundation Fire Risk Assessor will have:
- Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments, ideally with minimal supervision.
- A Level 3 certificate from a nationally recognized training course (preferably registered as a competent fire risk assessor).
- Familiarity with UK Fire Safety Legislation and best practices.
- A confident, independent approach to managing workloads and communicating with clients.
- A full, clean driving license and the flexibility to travel across the UK, including overnight stays.
