WHO ARE WE?

We are recruiting a Lead DevOps Engineer to work with a multi-national, industry-leading cyber security/defence company in Cheltenham. Our teams are what drive us forward in our mission to make the UK as safe as possible. Therefore, we are looking for the best talent to join the team. Due to the nature of our client, you must hold enhanced DV clearance.

WHAT WILL THE LEAD DEVOPS ENGINEER BE DOING?

The job involves designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical systems being rehosted into AWS. You'll be administering Linux-based systems, databases, and applications, troubleshooting IP networking systems, and automating system deployment and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling. You'll also be continuously expanding your skills and relevant certifications.

WE NEED THE LEAD INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER TO HAVE….

  • Active enhanced DV Clearance
  • Experience in designing, deploying and supporting Linux-based solutions using containerisation, IaC and DevOps tools
  • Experience in Stakeholder engagement and team leadership
  • Experience in automating tasks (using either Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
  • Experience with containers (Docker or VMWare)
