Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in M365 technologies and delivering Azure services. Previous experience working within a consultancy supporting customers implementing cloud technologies and M365 services would be beneficial.Growing function within a strong business with plenty of scope to progress as the business grows. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead the architecture and design of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Conduct assessments of existing cloud environments, identifying opportunities for optimisation and cost savings.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements are met across all cloud deployments.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Microsoft 365 (M365) technologies, including but not limited to Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, data protection, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects and a deep understanding of the challenges and best practices involved.
  • Ability to design and implement hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises and cloud-based environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly desirable.
  Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or ARM templates.
  • Knowledge of automation and orchestration tools, including PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
