We are currently working on behalf of our trusted client who are looking for a Commercial Officer. This is your chance to join a leading IT consultancy, specialising in supporting the Defence and Aerospace sectors. Heavily embedded in supporting both the UK and US governments across designing and implementing next-generation solutions.
What You Can Expect
- Location - Cheltenham (Potential travel to New Maulden)
- Salary - £60,000
- Work type - Permanent
Main Responsibilities as a Commercial Officer
- Lead day to day contract management and administration activities for multi-million pound contracts.
- Preparation for negotiation of contracts terms, licence terms, scope and pricing,
- Manage the legal review of contract terms and conditions
- Work with the wider Commercial team with higher value, complexity and strategically significant proposals and negotiations
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Must have worked within the public sector/defence/ government
- Previous Commercial experience, with strong organisational skills
- Relevant degree (such as Law, Business, Economics) or some industry experience desirable
- Must be SC eligible
