Brake Press TechnicianSalary: £16.50 - £18.00 per hourLocation: Cheltenham

Our client is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join their dynamic team, responsible for manufacturing and adjusting high-quality aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program the Amada CNC Brake Press, ensuring compliance with technical drawings and production processes while meeting targets.
  • Conduct first-off inspections to ensure adherence to production, safety, and quality standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, addressing any issues with your line manager and sharing technical expertise with team members.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience:

  • Background in engineering with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Essential experience operating and programming the Amada CNC Brake Press.
  • Strong manual dexterity and precision to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Comfortable with numerical tasks relevant to production.
