Working hours:  39 Monday to Friday

We are now seeking to recruit CNC grinder for a manufacturing client based in Staverton. The appropriate CNC grinder would be responsible for setting and operating cylindrical and surface grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department.

Candidate Requirements: CNC Grinder

  • CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage.
  • Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
  • A good understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Must be a proactive team player.
  • Grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
  • Use various types of measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
  • Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in setting and operating CNC and manual grinding machines.
  • Ability to self-inspect the parts
  • Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
  • Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
