Meridian is recruiting forCNC Setter Operatorswith experience in setting and operating CNC lathes to join our clients team on a permanent basis. They offer a great working environment with recent heavy investment in machinery and training / progression opportunities for their staff.
Shifts are either:
Monday - Thursday 2pm - 11.30pm; or
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm.

The Role of theCNC Setter Operator:
- Setup and operateCNC lathes
- Working to engineering drawings to produce components from predominantly caststainless steel
- Inspect work for proper dimensions and be able to document results
- Working to production plans to meet production targets and KPIs
- Experienced in working withCNClathes.
- Experience of setting and operatingmachines using eitherFanucorsimilar controlsis essential for this role
- Competent use ofgaugesandtooling
- Experience in minoroffset/programadjustments
