CNC Miller Setter Operator

Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our client's manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting and operating 3 and 5 axis HAAS VF4 and VMC milling machines, changing offsets, and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis HAAS VF4 and VMC milling machines
• Change offsets and tooling as necessary to ensure quality production
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining of parts
• Conduct regular quality checks and adjustments to maintain product specifications
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes
• Adhere to all safety and quality regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in setting and operating 3 and 5 axis HAAS VF4 and VMC milling machines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations

Day-to-Day
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 3 and 5 axis HAAS VF4 and VMC milling machines to produce high-quality plastic components. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that all products meet required specifications and perform regular quality checks to maintain standards.

Package

• Hourly rate depending on experience
• Paid for 40 hours but work 39 per week
• Shift is 7am to 4pm with a 12pm finish on Friday but paid until 1pm
• Multiple bonus awards through the year
• Shared profit through the company
