At Gi Group we are recruiting for Machine Operatives to work with our client based in Cheltenham (GL51). Temporary to Permanent position with potential for progression within the growing company.* Location - Cheltenham - GL51* Pay rate - £10.92 per hour* Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm* Friday: EARLY FINISH: 8am - 1pm* 30 minute lunch break + 15 minute additional break* Full induction provided - Manual handling training, HSE training.* Steel toe-cap boots required for site* Free On-site Parking* On-site vending machines* Lockers to store belongingsMain Responsibilities/Challenges * Set and operate equipment and machinery across the Cheltenham site.* Assist and support skilled machine setters in day-to-day production.* Perform tool changes and adjustments when needed across the business.* Apply lean manufacturing skills 5S, TPM* Communicate and work with other operational departments.* Quality conscious * Work Safety and effectively* Working on your own initiativeBackground and Personal Qualities:* This position would suit someone from a mechanical background, with opportunity to progress within a manufacturing business.* Some experience of machine setting preferred but not essential - full training will be given.* Any previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous (not essential)If you wish to apply or if you require further information, please contact Gi Group on .
